About the Role

An exciting 12-month fixed term opportunity has arisen within our Strategic Development and Inclusion Team for the role of Strategy Development Officer.

This role sits at the heart of our Corporate Development function, supporting work across Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Social Value, Human Resources, Learning & Organisational Development, Talent Management and Health & Safety.

As a Strategy Development Officer, you will help shape and deliver the organisation’s new Equality Strategy and People Strategy, working with colleagues from across the Combined Authority and with external partners. You’ll play a key role in coordinating projects, preparing documentation, organising engagement activities and ensuring our strategic work stays on track.

You’ll be supported every step of the way, gaining hands-on experience that will build your confidence and develop skills in project coordination, stakeholder engagement and strategic writing. Senior IT Service Officer

As Senior IT Service Officer you will report directly to the IT Service Centre Team Leader to successfully deliver first and second line support. You will be pivotal in increasing the number of issues we resolve at first contact with our IT users. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Transport Information Officer to join our multi-skilled and flexible Transport Information Team.

The role also includes overseeing the day‑to‑day running of the in‑house print facility, coordinating third‑party distribution contracts, and responding to customer comments within corporate timescales.

We’re seeking an organised, detail‑focused professional with experience in transport information or data management. Strong desktop‑publishing skills are essential, along with the ability to handle and validate data for digital systems.

Seasonal Customer Service Officer- Mersey Ferries

About the Role

Mersey Ferries are one of Merseyside’s most visited tourist attractions offering River Explorer Cruises, Evening Cruises, Manchester Ship Canal Cruises as well as our standard commuter service.

Working at any of our terminals assisting our customers by selling tickets for services, you must have a flexible approach to working hours. There are various different shift times at all our locations.

You will work 15 hours per week.

Start times from 07:00 and finish times to 20:00.

The right candidate must be prepared to be called on at short notice and be available to work for most bank holiday throughout the summer. Our Ferry terminals and attractions are located at Liverpool Pier Head, Seacombe or Woodside when it re opens.

This is a 6 month fixed term vacancy.

About the person

You should have a high standard of personal presentation, good numeracy and computer skills, a friendly disposition, an outgoing personality and be genuinely committed to providing excellent customer service.

This role maybe of interest to students and shift times can be worked around studies during the academic year.

You’ll be part of a region-leading transport authority at a pivotal moment, helping to deliver smarter, more connected and more inclusive travel across the Liverpool City Region. This is a role where your work will be visible, meaningful and genuinely transformational.

As Ticketing Data Manager, you’ll help change how people travel in the region, including introducing new tap-and-go ticketing for different types of transport. You’ll use data analysis to shape and improve ticketing services, ensuring customer experiences are evidence-led, accessible, and continuously enhanced.

You’re a confident problem-solver who thrives on leveraging data to enhance smart ticketing solutions and improve customer experiences. You’re adept at using analytics and CRM systems to inform decisions and are energised by the challenge of modernising public transport through innovative, data-driven approaches.

You have the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and thrive in a changing, innovative environment as well as excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with a wide range of stakeholders
