About the Role
The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) is expanding its Housing function and recruiting to several roles to support evolving policy, targets, funding, and projects as part of Nationwide new Government initiatives.
We are currently recruiting for a Housing Delivery Manager to join the Combined Authority’s Housing Partnership team. This exciting role provides an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of residents across the City Region and wider; with many projects also contributing to climate action and Net Zero targets.
As part of the team, you will develop, support and lead delivery of housing projects whether in relation to new and affordable housing delivery, or decarbonisation of existing buildings. We are looking for an experienced housing professional who can provide technical expertise, inspire project teams and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders including funding commissioners and the six Local Authorities to deliver the best outcomes for the City Region.
About the person
Essential skills and knowledge for this role:
- A subject relevant degree or equivalent or considerable experience within relevant housing.
- Experience within the housing development industry and bidding for public funding.
- Demonstrate a broad understanding of development markets with a particular focus on the residential market in the local area.
- Experience of financial management.
- Experience of managing programme/project teams, motivating staff and working across organisations to deliver quality outcomes.
- Experience of developing strategic relationships across stakeholders and at all levels in order to persuade, negotiate and influence.
- Good written and oral presentation skills with ability to present complex ideas in a clear and comprehensible way.
- Evidence of quality, time management and organisational skills
