About the Role
Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is looking for a Health and Safety Officer. Reporting to the Health, Safety and Occupational Health Lead. The Health and Safety Officer will be the key point of contact providing competent and professional health, safety and wellbeing advice across Liverpool City Region Combined Authority; as well as delivering health, safety and wellbeing training to employees.
Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is a diverse organisation with a number of different work disciplines. The successful applicant will be required to provide competent advice to management, related to a wide range of health and safety disciplines; supporting line management in their functions to ensure the health, safety and welfare of everyone. Consistently monitoring health, safety and wellbeing and providing suitable recommendations to improve health, safety and wellbeing across the organisation.
Due to the 24/7 critical safety working environment, there will be a requirement to be flexible and responsive to the needs of the business.
