An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen in the Transport Development Team. This is a chance to join a growing and respected team leading the development of our place-based pipeline of transport projects, who have recently secured £1.6 billion from Central Government to deliver transformational change to the city region.
The key expectations of the role, within the Programme Support Officer role description, will be to provide high quality programme support for the Transport Development team to help shape and manage the Combined Authority’s future capital investment programme across the Liverpool City Region through:
-Coordinating administrative functions
-Maintaining governance and programme documentation ensuring projects progress efficiently through key development stages
-Drafting briefings and ensuring timely delivery of actions
-Managing financial administration
-Working closely with colleagues, local authority partners and senior stakeholders to provide effective programme and administrative support across a range of transport initiatives
The opportunity would suit an experienced Programme Support Officer / Project Coordinator, ideally with experience of working on a large scale transport programme.
